Join us as we enter Piedmont Palm Royale, where retro elegance meets modern sophistication. Get ready for a season of parties, events, and programs benefiting Beach, Havens, and Wildwood Elementary Schools.

What is Spring Fling?

Spring Fling is the only annual fundraiser for Piedmont's elementary schools.

It brings together our community to support our children’s education. Funds raised go directly to the schools, supporting counseling, music, science, art, math, computer programs, library activities, and other vital programs. The season includes:

  • Comings & Goings Photographs: A long-standing tradition, we bring in a professional photographer to create portraits of our Kindergarten & 5th-grade students

  • Parent Theme Parties: Hosted small group, themed events for parents & students held throughout the spring & fall

  • Online & Silent Auctions: Bid on exciting adventures & wonderful items while supporting our schools

  • Parent & Business Sponsorships: Help make these events a reality by becoming a sponsor. Sponsors are invited to an exclusive evening at a private Piedmont home

  • Spring Swing: A fun day of golf & tennis at the Claremont Country Club supporting our schools. For more information and to register, visit SpringFlingGolfClassic.org.

  • Grand Gala: One of the best parties in town. This year, we are bringing Palm Beach in its tropical heyday to Oakland -- when clothing was colorfully chic, and cocktails were ice cold. Get ready for an opulent evening, from a cocktail hour and silent auction under the palms to our sit-down dinner and live auction to dancing, gaming, and lots of fun.

Spring Fling is successful only because of the support of our wonderful community. Our goal for Spring Fling is 100% parent participation. There are a variety of ways for you to get involved whether by volunteering, sponsoring, donating/purchasing auction items, or attending an event.
